While broadcasting the messages to the Genoshan people, a squad led by Commander Semoko and Mutate 42 attacks, and only the sacrifice of the Commission members can save the team.
The group meets with the Commission Members regarding the intel, and both are horrified to hear and see it. Joseph proposes that the Genoshan public needs to see it, and the only way to do that is through the national broadcaster. They suggest a plan to get inside the main studio and lock the signal on.
Back from their intel gathering missions, the group shares what they've learned, but their safe house is found out by the Magistrates and they're forced to scatter.
Maddie, Jean-Paul, and John break into the Genoshan Power Authority building in the city and make some discoveries about operations in the geothermal power plant.
Nico, Sooraya, and Artie break into the Genoshan administration offices to access the computer filing system, noting mutants who have been ‘re-assigned’ living quarters out of the enclave, but never show up in other enclaves. They also found suspicious support requirements in isolated locations outside the city.
Jean, Garrison, Angelo, and Bishop meet with Russell Davis, who tells them that two popular members of the Commission may be pursuaded to speak out against the Genoshan government if they're provided with evidence of mutant mistreatment.
Through their contact with a certain British agent, the group in the city learns of a direct contact in the Commission who is also a British agent. They determine that if they can somehow compromise the support of the public for the government, they might be able to weaken it enough to attempt another rescue, and brainstorm about just how to accomplish the compromise.
